Blanket Drive for the Needy

Since 1993, “Eshenaurs Great Comfort Drive” has generated over 40,300 blanket donations for the less fortunate living in the Central Pennsylvania area. Every year the blankets are distributed to the Bethesda Mission, Goodwill Keystone Area, The Salvation Army and to other shelters located throughout the region.

Blanket Drive for the Needy

Eshenaurs Fuels, Inc., of Harrisburg, continues its efforts to help those less fortunate stay warm during the winter months by collecting new blankets during “Eshenaurs Great Comfort Drive, the 18th Annual Blanket Drive for the Needy.”  Co-sponsored by WTPA 93.5 FM, this five-week drive starts Monday, Sept. 27 and ends Sunday, Oct. 31.

Throughout the drive, blankets can be dropped off at Eshenaurs’ headquarters at 200 S. 41st St., Harrisburg, and at any Karns Quality Food Store.

At its conclusion, the blankets will be distributed to the Bethesda Mission, Goodwill Keystone Area, The Salvation Army and area shelters located throughout the mid-state area.
